TINJAUAN TINGKAT KEPADATAN LALAT DI PASAR SEHAT SOREANG KABUPATEN BANDUNG TAHUN 2024: Review of Fly Density Levels in The Healthy Market of Soreang in 2024

| Abstrak | Flies are vectors and nuisance animals that can spread a disease through food that has been contaminated with bacteria. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of fly density, temperature and humidity factors, aspects of knowledge and attitudes of traders towards fly control efforts at Pasar Sehat Soreang. This research is descriptive in nature that describes the level of fly density. Sample technique used purposive sampling technique. Human samples in this study study amounted to 27 respondents. Environmental samples in this study were chicken los, beef los, wet fish los and TPS. Based on the results obtained from this study, the fly density index in the chicken lot was 8 tails/block grill, in the beef lot 7 tails/block grill, in the wet fish lot 6 tails/block grill and in the TPS 21 tails/block grill. These results show the level of fly density that exceeds the quality standards set in Government Health Regulation No. 02 of 2023 concerning Environmental Health Quality Standards and Health Requirements for Vectors and Disease Carrying Animals and Their Control, which is <2. The average temperature and humidity in the chicken lot was 28.3°C and 69.3%, in the beef lot 29.1°C and 69%, in the wet fish lot 28.7°C and 70%, in the TPS 30.3°C and 69%, the temperature and humidity ranges obtained were included in the effective activity of flies. The level of knowledge of traders is categorized as sufficient and the attitude aspect is categorized as good. It is expected that the market manager can pay attention to and carry out security related to fly breeding places and for traders to dispose of garbage to the TPS so that it is not scattered in the selling lot area and does not spread garbage around the TPS. |
