| Abstrak | Waste management is crucial as poorly managed waste can lead to numerous problems. This study aims to evaluate the waste handling processes at the "Track Waste Bank" in RW 04, Lampegan Village, Ibun District, Bandung Regency. The research focuses on waste generation, waste characteristics, and the knowledge and behavior of the bank's customers and staff. The study is descriptive, utilizing observation and interview techniques. The population includes 81 waste bank customers and 4 staff members, using total sampling. The results show that waste generation totals 244 kg for plastic, paper, and metal, and 15 kg for glass. Knowledge among customers is 96.3% in the good category, while staff knowledge is 100%. However, both customer and staff behaviors fall short of the required standards. It is recommended to enhance awareness regarding proper waste handling and the use of protective equipment. |
